Granti V2 Is Out Now!
Note for grantees: Independent registration is now available on Granti! However, administrator approval is required to be onboarded.
Granti, our grantmaking platform, has seen major success since its launch in late 2023. Over the past year, we’ve listened to your feedback, had in-depth conversations with funders and grantees, and explored ways to improve the platform even further.
Now, we’re excited to introduce Granti V2—an update featuring a revamped profile system that saves grantees time and provides funders with easier access to key information, making the entire process faster and more seamless than before.
Here’s what Granti V2 has to offer:
For Funders
We know how important it is for funders to get the right information quickly.
That’s why we’ve introduced updates that allow funders to skip the process of creating new grants or requesting additional information from grantees.
Now, funders can browse grantee profiles based on selected filters—such as area of focus, country, or grant size—and allocate grants immediately. This still preserves the option to request more information via a custom form.

For Grantees
Granti V2 allows grantees to spend less time on admin work and manage their information more efficiently. By updating and maintaining a single profile, grantees avoid the hassle of repetitive grant applications.
Now, grantees only need to provide extra details—such as their latest budget or reports—when specifically requested by a funder.

How the New System Works
All grantees are required to complete a basic profile with standardized questions and documents, including:
Organization name, year founded, website and description
Annual budget, current funding gap
Theory of change
Proposal document
Budget document
Latest impact report
Before the V2 release, all grantees on the platform were prompted to complete their profiles to continue applying for or updating existing grants.

What Hasn’t Changed
Funders still have the option to create their own grants and invite grantees to apply, just as they did with the previous version of Granti.
We foresee funders leveraging both new and previous features of Granti—reviewing updated grantee profiles first and then gaining deeper insights by developing custom forms that go beyond the basic profile questions.

Granti V2’s Impact
We developed this update to reduce repetitive processes, encourage more funders to onboard the platform, and ultimately increase the flow of funds in our movement. With 650+ organizations already on the platform, we're confident this will create new opportunities for collaboration and make a big difference in how we fund change.
